1. Check the CUET eligibility criteria properly to ensure you are eligible to appear for the exam.
2. Choose subjects based on CUET 2026 subject mapping. NTA allows applicants to select maximum five subjects. A applicant must choose the subject combination of their target university course when making selections in his application form. If a applicant fails to appear for subjects as required by a university, he will not be able to participate in its counselling process.
3. Add correct personal details: Applicant should fill up their personal details like name, address, parent’s name, etc. as per their official documents and 10-12 certificates. If there is even a minor change, it may result in the disqualification of application form.
4. Fill up correct mobile number and email id: Applicants are advised to fill in proper mobile numbers and email IDs. NTA will contact you only using these details.
5. Choose the proper category: Applicants belonging to a reserved category are advised to upload their updated category certificate. They will not be able to claim reservation benefits if category certificate is not uploaded.
6. Upload quality photograph and clear signature : Don’t upload a blurred photograph or an unclear signature. It may result in the disqualification of the application form. Applicants must upload their passport size colored photograph with proper face visibility. This year, a live photograph uploading option is also available.
7. The Single Girl Child (SGC) quota benefits Delhi University applicants. They must provide an affidavit proving they are the sole girl child in their family.
8. Keep a receipt for the submitted application form.
