Solution: Suppose the present ages of A, B, and C are x years, y  years and z years respectively. Therefore ten ago there average age of A and B = x -10  + y -10 /2 =20, therefore, x +y =60 years.

Today average age is  x + y + z/3  = 30 years and 60 +z /3  = 30  or z = 30 years and after 5 years age of C will be 30 + 5 = 35 years.
