CUET को अपनी जरूरतों के अनुरूप बनाने के लिए एक स्टूडेंट को  निम्नलिखित बातों पर ध्यान देना चाहिए:

  1. सबसे पहले अपने स्ट्रोंग और वीक सब्जेक्ट्स की पहचान करें (Assess Your Strengths and Weakness): यह पता लगाये कि आप कौन से सब्जेक्ट्स मे स्ट्रोंग है और कौन से में वीक I वीक सब्जेक्ट्स में आपको अधिक मेहनत की जरुरत होगी I इसलिए, CUET के लिए डोमेन सब्जेक्ट्स का सिलेक्शन करते वक़्त, जहा तक हो सके आपको वीक सब्जेक्ट्स लेने से बचना चाहिए I
  2. Targeted Study Plan: आप जिस यूनिवर्सिटी मे जो पाठ्यक्रम लेना चाहते है, उसके बारे मे जानकारी जुटाए I यह जानकारी आपको NTA की वेबसाइट और सम्बंधित यूनिवर्सिटी की वेबसाइट्स पर मिल जाएगी I आपको उसी के अनुसार अपने डोमेन सब्जेक्ट्स, लैंग्वेज और GAT का चुनाव करना चाहिए I
  3. Time Management: CUET के तीनों सेक्शन में से अपने चुने हुए डोमेन सब्जेक्ट्स, लैंग्वेज और General Aptitude Test (GAT), यदि आपने लिया है तो, की तैयारी के लिए समय सारिणी बनायें I कमज़ोर सब्जेक्ट्स को अधिक समय दें I MCQ बेस्ड Mock Tests के माध्यम से समय का सही उपयोग करना सिखें I
  4. सही स्टडी मटेरियल का चुनाव (Selection of Proper Study Material): उन किताबों और संसाधनों का चुनाव करें जो विशेष रूप से CUET के सिलेबस के अनुसार डिज़ाइन किये गये हैं I डोमेन सब्जेक्ट्स के लिए Class 12 NCERT textbooks को CUET की तैयारी के लिए मुख्य आधार बनाए I MCQ बेस्ड Test एंड Mock Test Papers को अपनी स्टडी मे शामिल करें I
  5. Solve Previous Year Question Papers (PYQs) to understand the types of questions asked and the difficulty level of exam.
  6. Daily Revision: End your day with a revision of all topics covered that day.
  7. Keep practicing regularly.
