(A) Brother      (B) Father      (C) Paternal Uncle      (D) Maternal Uncle

Ans: (D) Maternal Uncle

Solution: According to the question, C is sister of B, D is nephew of B and B is maternal uncle of D, as explained in the diagram.

Q 2837) A is the sister of B.  B is the brother of C. C is the son of D. How is D related to A ?

(A) Daughter      (B) Mother      (C) Son     (D) Uncle

Ans: (B) Mother

Solution:

B is brother of C and C is son of D. A is sister of B and C, therefore D is either mother or father of A,B,C. As per given option mother is right answer.

Q 2838) A and B are sisters. R and S are brothers. A’s daughter is R’s sister. How is B related to S ?

(A) Grandmother      (B) Mother      (C) Aunt     (D) Sister

Ans: (C) Aunt

Solution:

According to question, A’s daughter is the sister of R and S. B is sister of A, therefore B is aunt of S.
