CUET-UG2026 Subject Mapping

We welcome you in the post CUET-UG2026 Subject Mapping as follows:

Bachelor of Commerce B.Com/B.Com(Hons.)

Any one language from Section I (e.g., English, Hindi, etc.) + Accountancy/Bookkeeping OR Mathematics/Applied Mathematics + 2 relevent domain subjects from Section II (e.g., Business Studies, Economics,/Business Economics, etc.) + General Aptitude Test from Section III, is optional unless a university specifically requires it.

Mathematics is not compulsory for all B.Com courses unless a university specifically requires it.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A)

Any one language from Section I (e.g., English, Hindi, etc.) + 3 domain subjects from Section II (e.g., History, Poltical Science, Economics, Sociology, Psycology, Geography, Anthropology, Mass Communication/Media Studies, Home Science, etc.) + General Aptitude Test from Section III, is optional unless a university specifically requires it.

Examples: B.A. (Hons.) English: English (language) + any 3 domain subjects; B.A. (Hons.) History: English (language) + any 3 relevant domain subjects. In most cases, 1 language + 3 domain subjects combination is the standard template for B.A. courses.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

Subject mapping for B.Sc. depends on the specialisation stream chosen. In most cases, 1 language from Section I (e.g., English, Hindi, etc.)  + 3 domain subjectsIt from Section II (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths.)

General Aptitude Test (GAT) is not mandatory for most science courses at DU, but can be helpful for broader eligibility.

How can we do subject mapping quickly?

List target courses and relevent universities first. Each university may have its own subject mapping chart. Make sure your CUET subjects match the subjects required by your university.
