Solution:

P is sitting to the left of R.

Q 3853) The 6th term in the following sequence will be?

(A) 89    (B) 91    (C) 93    (D) 94

Ans: (B) 91

Solution:

The given seriesis as below:

1+2²=5+3²=14+4²=30+5²=55+6²=91

Q 3854) The average of the ages of P, Q and R is 45 years and P,R and S is 51 years. If the age of S is 56 years then the age Q will be?

(A) 35 years    (B) 36 years    (C) 37 years    (D) 38 years

Ans: (D) 38 years

Solution:

The average of the ages of P, Q, R is 45 years and P,R, S is 51 years.

∴ The total age of P+R=51×3-S=153-56=97 years

∴ The age of Q=The total age of (P,Q,R) – The total age of (P+R)

= (45×3)-97

=135-97=38 years
