(A) Rs. 65 (B) Rs. 70 (C) Rs. 75 (D) Rs. 80
Ans: (C) Rs. 75
Solution: Cost Price = Rs. 60 and Gain =25%
Selling Price = Cost price (1 + Gain% /100 )
= 60 ( 1 + 25 /100 ) = 60 (1 + 1/4)
= 60 x 5/4 = Rs. 75
Q 2496) The smallest natural number by which 24 must be divided to obtain a perfect cube ?
(A) 3 (B) 5 (C) 6 (D) 9
Ans: (A) 3
Solution: Factors of 24 are 2, 2, 2 and 3 .
Therefore, by dividing 24 by 3 we obtain 8, which is a perfect cube.
Q 2497) The volume and base area of a cuboid are 200 cm3 and 20 cm respectively. Its height is ?
(A) 10 cm (B) 15 cm (C) 20 cm (D) 25 cm
Ans: (A) 10 cm
Q 2498) Which smallest number should be added to 79 so as to make it a perfect square ?
(A) 1 (B) 2 (C) 3 (D) 4
Ans: (B) 2
Solution: 79 +2 =81.
81 is a perfect square.
Q 2499) By selling an item for Rs. 110 a trader gains 10 %. The cost price of item will be ?
(A) 100 (B) 110 (C) 115 (D) 120
Ans: (A) 100
Solution: Cost Price = 100 x 110/110 = Rs. 100
Other Question:
Q 2500) A rectangle have dimensions 8 cm and 6 cm. Its length of diagonal will be ?
(A) 8 cm (B) 10 cm (C) 12 cm (D) 14 cm
Ans: (B) 10 cm
Solution: Length of diagonal = √8² + 6² = √64 +36 = √100 = 10 cm
Q 2501)
In the given figure, what will be the acute angle between the diagonals, if a diagonal of a rectangle is inclined to one side of the rectangle at 25° ?
(A) 40° (B) 45° (C) 50° (D) 55°
Ans: (C) 50°
Solution: Diagonals of a rectangle are equal and bisect each other.
According to figure AO = BO
∠OAB = ∠OBA = 25°
∠AOB = 180° – (25° + 25°) = 130°
Acute angle between the diagonals = 180° – 130° = 50°
धन्यवाद
