Ans: (B) B

Solution: Sequence of books wil be C, D, A, E, B

Q 2446) Six friends A, B, C, D, E, and F are standing in a straight line facing north. B is immediately behind F. C is standing at the end of the line. D is standing exactly in between E and A. B does not stand after A, then who stands fourth from the start of the line ?

(A) D        (B) E          (C) A         (D) B

Ans: (A) D

Solution:  F, B, E, D, A, C

Q 2447) In a certain code language MOUSE is written as FTVPN, then what is the code for ROPED in the same code language ?

Ans: (D) EFQPS

Solution: E+1=F, S+1=T, U+1=V, O+1=P, M+1=N

Therefore, D+1=E, E+1=F, P+1=Q, O+1=P, R+1=S

It means correct answer is EFQPS

Q 2448) In a certain code language, KAMAL is coded as 76, and KOMAL is coded as 104, then in the same code language KARAN is coded as —

(A) 89       (B) 90       (C) 91        (D) 92

Ans: (B) 90

Solution: In case KAMAL : K=11 + A=1 + M=13 + A=1 + L=12; Total 38 x 2 =76

And In case KOMAL : K=11 + O=15 + M=13  + A=1 + L=12; Total 52 x 2 =104

Therefore, KARAN : K=11 +A=1 + R=18 + A=1 + N=14; Total 45 x 2 =90

  1. In question 2445 book E and book B both are below A so how can you decide it’s in an order of C,DA,E,B and not C,D,A,B,E
